Aim of the Project
A Hundred Bedded Hospital facility situated in the middle of the Urban Fabric of Vijayawada. Its important for a Hospital to be naturally Healing. The facility harness Healthy Therapeutic Gardens, which makes it quite different from the other facilities in the locality.
AMBIENCE
Nature is fundamentally linked to our human spirituality. Out in nature, we feel how we are connected to entities beyond ourselves and understand our interdependencies with other living beings. Nature also prompts us to reflect on the ever-changing nature of existence and what might lie beyond it.
The purpose of integrating lots of gardens in the Hospital comes in threefold.

HEALING GARDEN:
Healing landscapes have long been a key aspect of human life. When people first began erecting dwellings. It has been designed to provide a place of refuge and promote healing in patients, families, and staff. Any environment can promote healing, but gardens are particularly able to do so because humans are hard-wired to find nature engaging and soothing.
CLONE COURTYARD :
An attempt was made to design a Courtyard with a mimicking small courtyard to provide a soothing ambience, restrict sunlight and reduce the temperature in the complex. Provided the patient and users may benefit from such ambience

DETAILED SECTION
Ambient light sensor in mobile devices is used to sense the amount of ambient light present, and appropriately dim the device's screen to match it.
Similar tech is programmed to adapt the lighting conditions inside a building.
Design analysis
What it does?
Utilizes the ambient light sensor from inside and outside to adjust the lux level in the waiting hall.
How does it helps?
The natural lighting condition with reduced artificial source. The play of light creates a calm ambience inside the Hospital, which is essential for the patients.
Why this design?
The louver design is only to act on the extreme climate conditions.
Also iIt actively ventilates the air from inside to outside.
Scope
Minimal requirement of artificial resource for ventilation.
Adding tints to the glass can take it much further on the scope of implementation.
